It is with great sorrow that Uckfield and district Lions Club announces the Death of Lions past president John Carvey, John had been an active member of Uckfield Lions for a number of years. He was Lions president from 2019 to 2022 guiding Lions through Covid.
John was a well-known and popular figure around Uckfield with his work on Uckfield town council and then as town mayor for many years. John will be sadly missed by his friends in Lions, and our thoughts and sympathy go out to his wife Wendy and his family. Rest in peace John.
