Uckfield, Crowborough, and Heathfield food banks will benefit from local residents going to their local pubs to buy a raffle ticket and a pint or should it be a pint and a raffle ticket. Uckfield and district Lions club are very grateful to pubs around the district for their support with the Easter egg raffle, a 1 kilo Easter egg was the prize. Lions service committee decided that in these difficult times, it was best to pay for the Easter eggs from general funds rather than taking from the monies raised by the pubs. This has allowed Lions to Donate Crowborough foodbank £1,000, Heathfield Foodbank ,£1,000 ,Uckfield foodbank £2,000 , Foodbanks in all three areas are seeing unprecedented demand at present moment
