The sun shone on Uckfield and district Lions big fun day ,after a morning of getting the show on the road ,Lions fun day started with a Fun dog show judged by Cllr Jackie love ,all the entries in each class gave Jackie a very difficult job in deciding the winners and then best in show .
After the dog show, Uckfields new Mayor Karen Bedwell officially opened Lions days ,with Town crier Ian Bedwell making the announcements.
Very soon the field filled with people who were entertained by the Pentacle Drummers ,Punch and Judy ,followed by Jimmy the Jester ,all proving very popular .
The tea tent ,along with the Bar b que had a steady stream of customers ,stall holders reporting a brisk trade .
Uckfield and district Lions club would like to thank everyone who played their part in making Lions day a great success .
