At Uckfield Lions club recent Business meeting, Lion President Frank Phillips presented Lion Graham Russell with his award for 40 years of service to Uckfield and District Lions club and the Uckfield community.
Lion Graham was President of Uckfield Lions in 2012 -2013, and was Lions Press officer for many years along with running the website.
He also helped to set up the original Lions second hand bookshop in Bridge cottage, then helping with planning the move to the current bookshop in Olives yard, where the bookshop continues to thrive and provides funds for local Lions good causes.
Graham has also been Uckfield Lions Sleigh master for many years, towing the sleigh around Uckfield with his car, collecting door to door and organizing the event, But I don’t think he has ever been Santa.
