Lions club in Zone 1C are pleased once again to be asked to run two days at the Arlington Bluebell walk on the 26th & 27th of April, see #uckfieldlions.
Once again Lions will use this opportunity to raise much needed funds for the Kent Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance. Over the last 10 years Lions and their partners have worked so hard raising a total of £32k for the Lions Air Ambulance appeal. This money has been used to provide 11 newly designed kit bags all bearing the Lions logo and also state-of-the-art video laryngoscopes which are carried on both the aircraft and the Rapid Response Vehicles.

Lions next pledge to KSS is to provide funds in 2025 for a new rapid response vehicle to replace one of the older vehicles that have reached the end of their life, these vehicles are used on the occasion that the Air Ambulance cannot fly due to weather conditions.
South East Lions lead by a team from Uckfield and District Lions Club, will run the Arlington Bluebell Walk for two days. This involves collating a team of Lions from the local region to meet and great visitors and provide any information required, man the ticket booths and most importantly manning the refreshment area, last year led by UDLC chefs Graham and Anita Baldwin the team in the café served, amongst other items over 500 slices of cake and 130 jacket potatoes along with countless cups of tea and coffee over the weekend.
So please come along to the Arlington Bluebell Walk on the 26/27th April and help your local Lions club raise funds for the vital services of KSS Air Ambulance.
