Uckfield and District Lions club President is given £1000 to donate to charity or local good causes during his year as President.
This year Lions President Frank Phillips has donated to three local good causes.
£300 to Selby Meadow community gardens, the money be to used for improving this lovely area for public use.
£350 to Ridgewood Village Hall to be used towards the cost of entertainment for the Time for Tea and Friends afternoon group.
£350 to Holycross Junior church group, with funds to be use for the many different crafts etc the group does on a Sunday morning .
