At a recent Business meeting Uckfield and District Lions club donated £800 to Uckfield Youth club to be used for the purchase of a new Laptop and a Projector.
On Friday 28.4/25 Lion President Frank Phillips and Finance Director Chris Sherwood attended the Youth club to be shown the new purchases in action .
Volunteer Robert Muggeridge explained the Laptop was up and running, with members designing their front screen logo. The laptop is being used for forward planning, attendance, safeguarding and keeping the clubs finances safe.
Thelaptop and projector will be well used for computer game tournaments, interactive quizzes and film nights.
The Youth club is held on Friday nights in the Victoria pavilion between 6pm to 8pm for age group 11years to 13years. Places are restricted.
