Uckfield and District Lions club along with Lions clubs from the local area spent the weekend at the Arlington Bluebell walk.
Lions took over the running of the event, meeting and greeting, catering, and manning the gate house, with all the profits going to Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
The sun shone throughout the weekend and although the foot fall was down on last year, probably because of the Pope’s funeral on Saturday and the London marathon on Sunday, there was a steady flow of customers through the gates and the café area keeping all the Lions involved busy.
The result of two days hard work was that a fantastic total of £7200 was raised to go KSS Air Ambulance funds
