Uckfield lions Easter egg raffle again proved popular with pubs and clubs in Uckfield, Ringmer, Blackboys, Heathfield, Crowborough and Newick all selling plenty of raffle tickets for the prize of a 1 kilo Belgium chocolate Easter egg.
This year a profit of £2000 has been made and the money is going to The Children’s Respite Trust in Uckfield.
Children’s Respite Trust believe that no family should be left to care for a disabled child alone, and children attend the Respite Trust for regular activities and have fun, while allowing time for the rest of the family to have a few hours break.
