The first task of Uckfield Lions incoming president Lion Terry Mason at the July business meeting was to induct Tony Woodley as a member.
Tony came along to one of Lions open evening and expressed an interest in joining ,he came along to a couple of business and a dinner meeting and was keen to join Lions, as Tony has recently retired he has already signed up tohelp in the Lions bookshop in Olives yard .
Lions President Terry who was assisted by Lion’s Carol and Keith Grant who read Lion’s International Objects and Lions code of Ethics commented that his year could not have stared better.
