Uckfield Lions presented a new VE-VJ memorial seat to the Luxford Centre on Saturday 16th August at their VJ day tea celebration.
The seat was presented to the Luxford Centre by Lion President Graham Baldwin.
The Chairman of the Luxford Centre, Chris Macve, thanked the Lions for their very generous donation of the seat which replaces an old seat which had fallen into disrepair.
The presentation was also attended by Uckfield Mayor, Uckfield Town Cryer, Representatives of the Royal British Legion & the Luxford Centre.
