FREE PROSTATE SCREENING & DIABETES SCREENING SERVICE
at Civic Centre, Civic Approach, Uckfield TN22 1AE

Uckfield Lions are again holding a FREE prostate and diabetes screening day in association with PCaSO – the Prostate Cancer Support Organization.
Protate PSA testing will be by appointment only
Men aged from 45-80 are encouraged to book a test ON-LINE WHEN DETAILS ARE PUBLISHED IN FEBRUARY. Appointments will be available from 10-00am until 1.00 pm.
Men will have a simple blood sample taken by a nurse, the blood will be analysed in a hospital lab. The results will be overseen by a Consultant Urologist and men will receive an email in about a week inviting them to view their results on a secure page of the bookings website.
Diabetes Screening
At the same time patients, partners and the public are invited to take part in diabetes screening which involves one drop of blood again taken by a nurse. Results and advice are instantly available..
NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY for the diabetes screening.
