Uckfield Lions held their Classic Car Event on 5th July on Luxford Field. Unfortunately the weather forecast was very uncertain so although we had a good number of cars booked in, only around half that number actually attended.
The cars assembled at Thornes & the Highlands car park where tea & coffee was available & then set off through the town to Luxford Field.
The steam engine set off first, then followed at intervals by the classic cars. Members of Uckfield Lions arranged a display of the cars with tea, coffee & refreshments available.
Members of the public viewed the cars, many with details of the engine, year of manufacture & history displayed on information sheets.
